I was at work the other day standing in the hallway when a nurse passing by offered me some candy. It was strange because my back was completelly turned towards her and i never even looked at her untill she said something. She offered me gummy bears but i said no, she insisted and told me she has a brand new unopened bag so i took it.

HB: Would you like some gummy bears
Me: Oh no thank you.
HB: you sure, they'r not even open.
Me: ok sure, i'll take it, thank you

She started walking away and than turned around and said:

HB: I have a snickers bar too
Me: Oh no thanks i'm quite allright

She than smiled and walked away.


I work at a big hospital and have never seen this girl before but i have an idea what unit she works in because this happened by the Pediatrics department.


What could i say if i ran into her next time???

I've been out of the game for about a year since i had a GF so i am starting all over again...

First off, I love gummy bears.

Second you should have busted on her.

Something like: Ya know, my mother told me not to take candy from strangers. Your not trying to poison me so you can take advantage of me are you?

Of course calibrate it by being playful and smile.

If you can I would go find her and give her a bag of candy in return. It's an easy open.
