Hey guys, me and my room-mates were eating out and our waitress was totally gorgeous. The whole time she was giving me smiles, and making small talk. Maybe it was just cuz she's in customer service, but i felt a small connection.

After we were done eating i approached her while she just finished waiting on another table and said:
me-"Im not sure if this is out of line, but i think you are absolutely gorgeous and i was wondering if you would give me a call, if i gave you my number."
her- "how about i just give you my number?"
me-"No, i dont want to be a bother. How about i just leave my card on the table and if you're interested, you'll give me a call?
her- "ok, i will! It was great to meet you" while giving me a huge smile

i left a big tip and my card that has my number on it (im a PT)

What would you guys have done differently? I obviously didn't get a call lol

3 mistakes: 1. You called her gorgeous. Sure she was flattered but she knows she's beautiful and most likely always gets hit on. Elevate the small talk more.

2. She offered you her number and you said no?? There obviously isnt a bother if she offered. You charmed her to the point of her willing to give a random customer her phone number, take the prize next time its not greedy if she offered.

3. You left your number on a big tip.... why so she would be like o hey he tipped me 30% and not 20% i am definitely going to call the guy who wouldnt take my number but would leave me alot of money.

Waiter game is tricky cause you never know if they're just working or if they are actually interested. You played the game right up until you didnt take her number, but now i know you will lol. Either way well played my friend

I don't think your were out of line going direct like this. It's fine but most girls won't call.

It's the role of the man to make the first contact. This is most of the time. I like the idea of leaving the business card to DHV yourself.
