Hey guys,

This is my first proper post so ill get straight to it.

Every time that i find a girl that i am interested in i get Oneitis.. every time. Im really picky with the girls that i will go out with, chatting up girls doesn't come easily to me however i think i would do better with friends that would encourage me to talk to girls and help me keep my moral up. Anyway back to the origional point, ive been going out with this girl that i am interested in at the moment and all seemed to be going well until last Saturday. This girl is my sisters best friend and a good friend with my mum, so it makes it awkward enough. She came over to watch Christmas movies with me all day on Saturday which we did, however looking back on it i know i should have tried to k-close her (which i didn't), my mum asked her to stay for tea (which she did) and then we watched another movie, we talked about her staying over then night and she said yes, however i think she was a little indecisive about it and decided to sleep in my sisters room... this didn't happen as she ended up falling asleep half way through the film on my bed, i turned the TV off and woke her up enough so that i could say i was turning the light off if that was ok... she nodded, so she ended up sleeping the night on my bed next to me. in the morning when we woke up she asked why she wasn't in my sisters room, i told her what i did and she said that she vaguely remembers it :S about 30 mins after waking up and collecting her stuff, she went home because she missed her mummy???? I haven't heard from her since when she would usually text me/facebook me each day. 2bh i think that i have screwed it up bacause i didnt k-close, now as she hasn't spoken to me and i texted her 2 times on Sunday (she did reply with a kinda shot text) i think that i should wait until she next contact me before i do anything, and the next time i see her, i should definately k-close her?

any opinions/pointers/advice is more than welcome and is greatly appreciated!

Yeha ure right man, thanks for ure help on Chat, u were really helpful, but in this situation what should i do? she came on facebook chat a minute ago and i resisted saying hi first, but she never started a convo anyway, so if she aint gunna start a convo with me, should i try and start 1 with her via txt or facebook?

Yeah don't worry about that too much, I've been in a similar place to that but in the end its not gonna matter who starts the conversation as long as you play it right. She's not gonna think less of you for initiating, just make sure you don't shamelessly bump her like Hey. . . How are you? Ok Bye. With no reply

Hey, thanks for the replys.

I did txt her first and had a quick chat, then 3rd ish txt in, i asked her to come out for dinner with me the next day.

(oh i should probably mention that she came out of a relationship that she had been in for 3 years about 4 weeks ago, fairly important thing i would have thought but it slipped my mind)

Anyway, she said that she didnt want ruin our friendship or her friendship with my sister/mum... Thankfully I spoke to Hobbit on chat the other day and he helped me figure out why i got oneitis, what he said really helped me to no end! so thanks buddy.

Yeah im a bit bummed that she didnt want to continue, but im pretty much fine about it really! The funny thing is, by saying she didnt want to continue to save a few friendships, my sister wont speak to her and nor will my mum... I didnt tell my mum or sister anything, but apparantly she was texting them before she said it to me anyway!!

Don't think that I'm going to peruse her any more, but the good thing is that I'm not to bothered, again... thanks Hobbit
