Texting can be a tricky business, AxeltheSwede. As with e-mails, texts are easily misinterpreted, and girls can be offended by a tone that you intended only to be playful. Like you, I have a natural ironic/sarcastic humor, and I've had the experience where girls react badly to something I've written in a text. So my suggestion would be to, at a minimum, stay cautious with your wording when texting. But the real lesson -- which I've learned the hard way -- is to focus on calling girls and talking to them in person. In those contexts, girls can hear your tone and/or see your smile when you say something, so there's much lower risk of being misinterpreted. Plus, talking live is a much better -- and quicker -- way to build rapport with a girl. And that's really what you're looking for once you've established attraction, which it sounds like you've already done well.
