the colour difference between the shirt and jeans is so slight that it looks a bit odd.
Dark grey jeans would work better or a grey/light coloured shirt.

You should try experimenting with a scarf over a tie just because of the city. In NYC / Boston or LA a tie is a winner in Boise the scarf is a better touch.

I'd go for a double windsor not too, much slicker. Interesting look you have there, longer sleeves definitely though.
