Hey guys, new to this forum, but i've been really working to get deeper into gaming lately and starting to practice what i've learned.

so this is gonna be my first real field report, and i welcome constructive criticism.

The other night, i go with these two sisters i know to see girl1's boyfriend's band. i meet up with the girls at their house, and girl1 drives us to the place. at this point, i'm starting to game on my target girl2 from the back seat. basically i'm establishing an alpha status with them, and dhving it up.

we arrive at the bar/lounge, and the three of us sit in a booth, i'm positioned sitting next to my target who is in the middle... a dude sits with us next to girl1... and he apparently is with the band and they both know him... so i start working the obstacle very lightly, just making sure that i'm maintaing my alpha status, and here i make my first critical error.

this guy looked like the definition of an AFC... sort of awkward looking, not very cool, and very nonthreatening. he consistently said things that were just weird and uncomfortable anytime he spoke. so i looked at the equation and decided he was one variable i did not need to worry about, because i thought my target was out of his league. i'm not sure how he managed to become a threat, maybe he had built rapport with her on another night, or maybe i just completely underestimated him. either way, it wasn't until a few hours later i realized how seriously i fucked up.

i have this girl dancing with me, we're hitting it off, we have our own inside jokes going on, the whole thing. it couldn't be going anybetter. somewhere along the lines though, he gets my target alone and just gets in real good. i start watching him pull some kino which i had neglected for the most part, and with that she slipped from me. but still every time we looked at each other, it felt like our connection was still very much alive.

they end up on a bench together outside, i go out for a smoke, and to make a final stand. i sit down next to her, once again she's in the middle, and i start taking over the set as alpha again immediately... to my surprise he gets up and heads inside. and this is where i fucked up again, we're sitting there sharing a smoke, talking and hitting it off again. this was my chance for the night to K-close, and i just didn't do it. I choked, and after a few minutes her sister came outside.

long story short, somewhere after i fucked up, the dude made out with her, and got her.

LESSONS LEARNED:
Never underestimate anyone.
If you know its your chance, take it.

True, I can't even remember how many chances I've missed, after a while you get sick of it and just take them thinking to yourself: "Fuck it, it's now or never".

Once you realise windows of opportunities close after a certain amount of time, once you really grasp that, you won't let another opportunity pass you by.

You'll know when you've really grasped that, because if you haven't your mind goes: "I don't want to fuckup my chances" or "There will be other opportunities, I'll do it later in the evening or tomorrow"

If you have grasped it your mind goes: "It's now or never, I'm all in! This opportunity will pass me by if I don't take it now, just how past experiences have showed me!"

Unlucky about that other guy though, I always make it my mission to befriend everyone and get every's attention and opinions on stuff.

thanks man, i really appreciate the advice and your take on it. I don't think he disliked me or anything, actually he added me on facebook the very next day funny enough. like i said, i just didn't see it coming, and didn't really try to keep him at bay.

An update though, the hb9 hit me up on facebook asking if i was going out with them again to the next show. i asked where it was, and she gives me the address followed by "sure we can help you find it lol :)" to which i responded "well if that be the case, i guess i'm gonna have to attend. lol." and then finally she says "sweett! now it's gunna be a party! lol "

I think my chances are still pretty good actually, although i will once again be competing with the same dude cuz he's in the band. but i'll just have to deal with him systematically like i neglected to in the first place.

any other tips?
