I thought about maybe putting this topic in the "Relationships" section, but since we were technically never officially in a relationship, I thought "Closing and Day 2s" might be more appropriate. Anyway, let me explain and opinions about this situation will be welcomed.

Couple of months ago I went out to a special event happening at a club, with some friends (and ran into other friends later), which had a reasonably good turn-out and better music than usual. Anyway, fast-forward to the point where I happen to notice some woman dancing by herself on the dancefloor, and quickly think of a way to open. This place isn't quite as loud as most clubs are, so it's a bit easier to talk. So I approach and say "I wanted to say you dance really weird, it's like you're trying to do the robot but failing". She kind of brushes me off initially, but I go back and say "I didn't say it was bad" and from that point we talked a lot and she became very interested, especially liking some of the dance moves I pulled off (I have a Hip-Hop background). She was waiting for her brother and friends, who came later.

I didn't get her number because we both forgot, but she said to come visit her where she works, so I went a few days later and got her number. Then we organised to meet and had coffee. Overall we really seemed to click pretty well... few years older than me, but I don't mind. Anytime I contacted her afterwards, she started always saying she was busy and couldn't go out and such. Then I ran into her on the street in the city one night, and she said she was going to another city for a few weeks, along with saying she would message me when she got back (mid-November). However that never happened. So now I'm wondering, should I keep waiting or try calling or messaging to get some kind of closure? For better or worse, I usually just like to know what's going on.

Anyone have any pearls of wisdom?

Alright, I'm just going to message her again and attempt to organise a time we can get together. I've obviously got nothing to lose. Thanks to the 70+ users for viewing this topic.

I understand what you mean by the 'wanting to know what's going on' part but in my experience some girls just flake and flake and never actually tell you why.. I guess one more try won't necessarily hurt but by the sounds of it she's rejecting you so I'd probably just move on..
