Asking questions and finding out about the girl and where shes from blah blah blah is great filler for mid game, but don't just do question after question after question. Try to ask a question, then talk about it for five minutes or so. Or just make the entire conversation about that question. It's not an interview.
x.
PUA: Where are you from?
Her: Toronto.
PUA: Canada? Home of the shittiest hockey team in the NHL.
Her: Hey! Hahah, they're not THAT bad.
PUA: Don't kid yourself!
Her: Well what team do you like?
blah blah blah
This is basic and may not be exactly how it goes down, but you get it. Push-pull is another technique that works here. Keep her excited! When you sat her down and started interviewing / asking her questions, she knew she had you. She lost interest at this point. If she seems uninterested, pull the string from her, start talking to someone else, show that you don't NEED her.
