Weird, because I was with someone already, but was stuck in an elevator with a couple of girls who thought and acted like they were 10's, but were in reality a 5 and a 6 or after 2 beer a 6 and a 7

Anyway I was in this elevator with them, just making small talk. I think the more bimbo-ish of the two, thought that I was hitting on her, and blurted out something like "I have a finacee!"

(Like I give a F@ck- I am thinking to myself, not only does she think that she's more than she is, she's a bitch too! )
Then I thought of something rude and obnoxious to say.
Like;
Poor guy
Can he get out of it still
Does he have 2 legs or 4
I didn't know they were still running ads for overseas husbands, in the national enquirer
Some guys are just stupid
Does he need any hookers for his stag

but then thought that she was there as part of my work, that day, so didn't want to say that either.

What do you think would have been the appropriate, smart ass or cocky response, that would;
1. Put her in her place, without pissing off the boss
2. Be done in such a way as to make her uninterested in me

kind of opposite, of what we do

something along the lines of "oh my god, you must have thought I was hitting on you. yikes"

What I always use when a girl pulls the 'i have a boyfriend' card:

"UGH I, like, totally have a bf!"

great! I didn't ask.
[announce to a crowd] this girl has hot girl syndrome.

she thinks everyone want a piece of her. [move on with material]

It works in every situation, it deactivates the bitch shield, its a counter neg, it comes off as non-reactive, it even has a backhanded compliment by using the words hot girl

You could have gone with the "Poor guy" and leave it at that. Don't go harder then needed, there is no need to be rude to anyone. Besides, if you start to insult him, it will only make you look bad and make her stand up for him.

I have to disagree with you. Yes, in a daytime, workplace environment like this, you don't want to be mean. However, in a nighttime club environment - it's every man for himself, and using AFCs to your advantage has HUGE benefit. Being a pussy nice guy can work once in a while, but that's just handicapping yourself..

ex: some guy is hitting on a girl who is clearly not enjoying it, and you come in pretend to be the boyfriend, destroy his ass.

simple group theory lets you address non-essential people, you convey some fake interest one way and disinterest the other, while your ulterior motive is to bang their hot friend, a little sneaky and 'mean' don't you think?

Why not just forget about negs and teasing while your at it, because it might hurt her feelings.

I like the hot girl syndrome reply. You can also say something like: "Look, I don't know what made you think I was hitting on you, but I wasn't. You are not really my type. I am just trying to have a fun conversation with you guys." This is an honest answer and I don't think an insulting one. You don't always have to be a smartass when giving a reply.
