I met this girl at a party that my mates and I put together. (70+ kids)
she actually saw me first and was looking at me, so i immediately approcached her with her two friends. i started talking to all of them at first then focused on her. a few times i did the "pretend to leave" so she pulls you back in routine and that worked both times, she was touching me and hitting me and stuff showing IOIs etc. but i had to leave. and didnt get the chance to get her number (thats not true i could have but im just a pussy). so the next day, like a creepy stalker i find her on facebook (cuz thats what the kids do now days) and started this conversation (on facebook):


me: hey how have you been. lol since last night...

HB: haha ive been good. a little tired. you?

me: me? well as tony would say ive been grrrrreat. speaking of cereal, i didnt get the time to ask you for your number on friday. i think your a cool person and i just wanted to get to know you better. (like NOT in a party setting, with a bunch of drunk people flying everywhere like retarded owls. you know?)
we should definitely meet up again sometime.

HB: yeah youre not so bad yourself. 555-555-5555

me: im not so bad? is that the best compliment you can muster? c'mon...

HB: no i think youre pleasantly random and you have and an adorable smile and i would like to get to know you too (nix the drunk party). . .hows that?

me: you'll be getting a text from me. but im trying to figure out some whitty opener to use. instead of "hey this is ShitShowMartinez, that one kid with the crooked smile at that party on friday"

ok i know i went about this whole thing completely the WRONG way. but she is still interested. so i was wondering where i can go from here. i still havent texted or called her, because im trying to figure out what to say. i cant exactly ask her out because thanksgiving is approaching and i am going to be out of town for 1 week. but i got the idea of texting during the holiday. but ive read some posts that say texting always ends up in failure. so any PUA that sheds some light on this would be revered as a God in my book (and yeah im WRITING a book).

well you can text her and say your out of town (obviously) for next week. and ask her what she is doing the week after.
