I'm getting better at day game approaches now and I'm starting to collect some numbers. However, I feel like a lot of these numbers are goners. I want to be more efficient with my numbers.

My question is two-fold:

1. What can I possibly do to reduce flaking (Girl not responding to initial text)?
2. If a girl doesn't respond to a simple initial text, should I consider this as a loss already and move on? (Sending another text or even calling to give it another shot is bad?)

Some ideas regarding the first question:

- No texting but calling?
- C&F texting a few minutes later after approaching?
- Call her immediately after getting her number, so she has my number too and know who I am (caller ID). I can also check if the number is real this way.

Yes, even though it's during the day you need to bounce her to a sit down location. Coffee shops work well for this few extra minutes together. It can be difficult during day game but it's an essential part of it. That bounce establishes some extra rapport with her that you will need to get the Day 2 and date later.

Also, if you can establish a time-bridge with the girl it will help you reduce that. If during chit chatting with her, you realise you both love to skate, set up a skating date right there. I think Slywalker explained it more into details in his '10 things I hope someone tought me about pick up" thread. It's a nice little addition to your game.

One thing also that I saw, was to keep the convo going a bit after that number. Like Jon suggeted, bouncing to a cafe or any loaction will work wonders.

I've also read a nice little text message I've seen somewhere on these boards that you can text right after is something like: " Hey, who was that handsome man you were just talking to?"

I already knew a bounce could do wonders. But I just don't have the time to do that. I'm quite busy myself. Btw, a lot of the girls seem busy too during the daytime.
