So I'm going to make a long story short. Met a girl at a party last Tuesday hit it off blah blah, she was asking my friends where I was over the weekend because I wasn't there, I texted her last night and got no response. I was going to text "so is it time to stop playing hard to get and reply to my text message" but then I thought that might be coming off a little too strong for someone I haven't talked to in a week or so. What do you guys think?

You weren't where over the weekend? A date you set up, or a mutual spot that you go to? If you blew something that you specifically agreed to, she will see you as a flake. period.

Now about the text. Well what did you send her? In my experience, you have a pretty good chance that you missed the window...but maybe not, if a) you go somewhere often where she will be, then don't text her, and elaborate, casually, on whatever it is that you were doing when you see her, or b) if you don't think you'll see her again, then text her, there's nothing really to lose. But read the below first.

What was the last frame (of conversation) and where in the model (A3, C1, C2) were you when you talked to her last? Was it cocky or comfort? If you don't plan to see her again then go ahead and text her, with a twist...did you have any routine that stuck out REALLY well, or some teasing IOI that is fond in your memory of that time? If you were doing something or talking about something related to an item or theme, use that somehow in your text to re-initiate those feelings in her from the anchor you planted (hopefully!). So as an example, with that, and what you would HAVE txt above: "Well hello miss [whatever], I'm gonna give you a call later..."

just like that. And call her later.

NEVER mention "reply to my text message", that is going to make you look pathetic. Ignore that she did it and you sent that txt. Now if she fails to text you back or answer, in my book she'd scratched out.
