Hey everyone, I need to get my teeth whitened. They aren't terrible, but slightly yellow and need some work. I tried Crest Whitestrips but they only helped a little bit. I'm thinking of professional whitening but it is very expensive (close to a grand) and I've been told that it isn't permanent.

If anyone has had success with a certain product or with professional whitening it would be great to know.

I have gotten A LOT of complements on my teeth being white and have to say that Crest Whitstrips are the best over the counter stuff out there. You have to use the HIGH QUALITY shit. I didn't get the best results the first time I used them, but I used them four or five times and used the high quality strips. Good luck man.

Thanks for the input dude. I used the midgrade stuff so I think I'm going to buy the top quality ones. I'm thinking that I can just use the top ones (about 40$) over and over if I can send in for the money back rebate, even if they work. Do you send in for the money back guarantee, and have you gotten it?

Its always a good thing to have great white teeth. Stylz, you make the whitestrips sound good so I think I'm going to try those Crest Whitstrips.

I first tried the midgrade shit that you used and it worked a little buy not too good so I send it in for a refund and bought another pack of the midgrade stuff which again worked a little. I then bought some other brand which was TOTAL SHIT which I sent back for a refund and used that money for the high grade Crest Whitestrips which worked good. Now here's where it gets REALLY FUNNY, are you ready? My conniving ass sent those back in for a refund and bought some more, so essentially I got two boxes for free A word to the wise, those strips work, BUT they make your teeth sensitive and they make it easier for you to get cavities. Good luck man.

Whitening your teeth fucks up the enamel. I know this because I was sleeping with a woman who ran a dental clinic and she told me.

Arent them Crest Whitstrips 'Enamel safe', whatever tf that means.

Ive used Ebay to purchase a gel kit that was inexpensive and it worked wonders.

I'm telling you right now the safest and inexpensive way, yet very effective, is to brush your teeth after every time you eat.

Don't waste your money on products unless you are already brushing them enough. I brushed my teeth 5 times a day (lightly, not vigorously) and in 2 weeks they looked absolutely beautiful. I'm telling you, promise yourself this week to brush your teeth when you wake up, after every meal, and right before bed. You WILL be impressed by the whiteness of your teeth, and I guarantee this.

Make that vow, check the results, then reconsider spending lots of money on whitening products. If you like your results, you can brush like 3 times a day to maintain it. There's no need to brush very hard (not good for you anyway) or with a ton of toothpaste. You'll save money and look better.

Best thing I've ever used was the UV activated teeth whitener that you can buy at a tanning salon. I used to go tanning and you apply this stuff to your teeth while you're tanning and the UV rays activate it (just like professional whitening does at the dentist). It only takes about 3 tanning sessions (or 30 minutes) to see full affects. My teeth have been really white for the past 6 months. It also recommends that you do a touch up every 3-5 months.
