Let me tell you guys this much; today I loved my job.

I work as a shift manager at a Burger King restaurant and out of nowhere I got myself a number today and it was easier than I thought it'd be -- even if I happen to be a self-proclaimed "Most Perfect Man In The World".

The first one was a really cute, but slightly confused, blonde girl. She used her credit card in the drive-thru and looked like she was thinking pretty hard when she was about to sign the reciept and I couldn't help myself:

Me: "Did you forget your name or are you thinking about something else?"
Her (not a bit surprised): "Nooo... I was just thinking, have anyone happened to honk their horn when signing this?"
Me: (laugh) "You've got to be the cutest customer I've had! Slightly confused, though."
Her: "Erm... thanks?"
Me: "Anyhow... How about a cup of coffee?"
Her: "Sure!" (Thinking she'd get the coffee right away)
Me: "Jot down your number then and we'll set up a time and a place for that."

She laughed and gave me her number.

To make things even better, the horniest guy at work just looked at me as he had seen the whole thing. He just looked at me with a confused smile.

Him: "What... the fuck?"
Me: "Yup. I'm that good."

nice job!

that said, you've got to watch out since being so direct with customers at work can be dangerous. if one of them feels uncomfortable b/c you've just randomly asked for her number out of nowhere and she complains, you could be fired.

Indeed, but I'm a risk-taker.

Thing is, if she would've shown any signs of discomfort I wouldn't have popped the question. After a year in the business, you learn to deal with all kinds of customers.

...and if I happen to lose my job, I've got a few aces up my sleeve.

I was thinking the same thing bro.

you have more balls then me

i work at a airport as a ramper. between flights i go upstairs and will eventually try a little day game. but i want to get it down pretty tight.

Once there was a girl who worked at a ticket check point. a pretty boring job. she was dozing off a bit, and a man approached her. he said "hi how are you doing today?" she said, "I'm doing aight this job is stupid as hell i cant stand it anymore." Later come to find out the man that approached her was the CEO/president of the airline she worked for. I think we both know what happened to her...

but good story let us know how the day2 goes!

Well, I don't value my job that much. I've got some savings and no debts, so it's all good. I can always get another job or start studying.

Aaaanyhow:

I did it!

Called her, booked her up, hooked her and it turned out she's a writer... or at least tries to be.

The thing is, I'm an amateur-writer myself and had some of my writings published. This made things easy for me and offered to help her read some things.

"I've got all the stuff in my apartment."
"Great. Let's go!"

And before she knew it we were on our way to her apartment. When we got there I noticed three things:

1. She's a terrible writer; due to the fact that...
2. ...She's not very bright.
3. She had some great tea and I forgot to ask her what kind of tea it was.

I gave her a few pointers, offered to correct some things and show her some stuff (letting me sit down in her computer chair). I got her to give me a massage while reading and I'll let your imagination fill in the rest.

My guess is she didn't struggle. She wanted this from the beginning; and I can't blame her. I mean... hell! I'd tap myself if I could! ;D
