Don't know if this has been talked about before...

I was listening to Seacrest on the radio yesterday. They were talking about if it was cool for guys to send each other texts with smiley faces in them (lol, right?).

I got into it, got out of my car, HB was walking by, stopped her, asked her what she thought, noticed she had a nose ring, I asked her (smiling) if she was born with that there and when she was planning on getting it removed (LOL...harsh), then talked about piercings since I have a couple, told her I had to get to class, but we should continue this, you can come with me when I get my cartilege pierced (in my head: and we'll go right after I finish banging you) and we exchange numbers. We're meeting up tomorrow.

Here's the important part: Seacrest totally hooked it up for me.

They have kick-ass discussions and questions like that on the radio everyday. Just listen to it (or any other pop-type show on the radio) and BOOM, you have today's opener. And before you approach, just figure out a way to turn it into a story (i.e. It's funny, you have no idea what happened to one of my good friends the other day...gosh, I probably shouldn't even be telling you this, man, you're good (as you nudge her shoulder like she's getting this out of you) and tell some story about a friend of yours relating to the opener).

haha usefull stuff i always hear stuff like this on the radio on the way to college, never realy thought bout using it but i will from now!

Every morning i listen to the radio on my way into work and end up discussing the topics raised with my work mates. Why not just addapt that information into an opener or mid-game?
I'm gonna try this one out.
