hey guys!

i need some advice/criticism!

i was out for a couple of drinks with this girl last night and it went well...we chatted about stuff and did loads of kissing and she seemed into it.
she said that she might not make her bus and i said that she's welcome to stay at mine! i even slipped in that i had a sleeping bag and a comfy couch...dunno if that was a good idea or not but i didn't wanna immediately imply any expectation of sexual activity!

anyway she pondered it for a sec and said that she had to go home cos her mum was expecting her!

now i was wondering if you think there is nothing i could have done orrr if there was some course of action i could have taken to further convince her to come back to my place!

any suggestions/criticism/whatever else is welcome!

You were right on calling yourself out with the sleeping bag and couch thing. You could have kept it simple and been very relaxed, just say well come to my house for a bit and just chill until the next bus comes. From there you can game her at your place and eventually she will want to stay if you played things off right. Or it is possible when she pondered her mom actually did want her home and she wanted to avoid confrontation. Otherwise though usually if a guy is interesting enough she'd blow that off.

She could have always called her Mom and told her she was staying at a friends house. You should have put down false time constraints, "You can't stay long. I have to get up early.", and told her you would have got her a cab which would save her time compared to the bus and she could use that extra time to "hang out at your place for 5 minutes".
