You can't target a specific area to burn the fat off.
If you only do cardio then you will lose fat all around. Some places faster than others. That is why lifting weights are a great way to target specific areas you want to lose weight or fat and build muscles. For example you have flabby arms. You could do bicep curls and triceps dips to turn that fat into muscle. If you have fat butt that you want to shape then you can do squats. If you have a flabby stomach you do sit ups and crunches and so on and so on.

However you shouldn't target only one area. Throughout a few days you should try to target every part of your body. Last thing you want is buns of steel and a fat gut.

Unfortuynately, you can't do any face exercises. In order to lose face fat, you have to lower your whole body fat. that means you either have to gain muscle and lose fat. in your case, you might want to lose fat, because you are talking about wanting a smaller face. However, at the same time you want to look healthy.. If your not fat/overweight and want to lose the cheeks, then its best to concentrate on building muscle for about a month or two. After that you can start doing cardio and dieting (as if you want to lose weight). the science behind this, is with a new increased muscle mass, you will be able to burn fat that you weren't able to lose before (because of a higher metabolism)...

This is the only way you can change the chubbiness of your face. you sound like somoene who used to be fat when they were young and then lost all the weight sometime in their teenhood. You probably still have that fat image of yourself everytime you look in the mirror.. its all mental.. btw... having cheeks is better than having a scrawny featurless face..

Cardio is only counterproductive if you do too much of it and your goal is to gain muscle.

A chubby person's goal is not to gain muscle but to lose fat.

Metabolism is determined my two things: genetics, and body mass. So there are two ways to increase your metabolism, gain fat(not good) or gain muscle (good).

If your body fat index is less than 10 percent, it will be better to gain muscle. And thats when cardio is counterproductive. After gaining muscle, your future metabolism will be much better. Thats why a full body workout that concentrates and your legs and back (which combined make up like 75 percent of your muscle mass) is crucial in having that slim muscular physique in the longrun.

HOWEVER, If your body fat index is 30, your main goal is probably to lose fat, cuz gained muslce won't make you look any better. Thats when cardio should be your emphasis. This is because the more fat you have the more efficient cardio will be in losing the fat.

I read your links and i know everything on them is true and fact. But as I said before it only applies to slightly overweight people who want to be ripped. i didn't know if that was the case with the cheek fat.

Huh?

Yeah, posting 10 times a day is so hard! Hahahaha :)

Thanks for the compliment, though.

I'm good on time management!

Ive being hitting gym and dieting for a fair while now, and still have man boobs and flabby side abs!

arms, legs shoulds back are all toned, except for chest and ab! it really just comes down to bodytype as well.

I'd consider losing weight and working on your chest/ abs.

I have a similar problem. Just about my entire body is skinny except my legs and ass are a bit fat. This is so stupid. lol
cardio cardio cardio
WRONG!! Cardio will only make you loseweight... It will in now way change the form or toning of your body. Ever seen an obese person that lost like 50 pounds shirtless.. They are smalle, but they still have that flabby "i used to be fat" physique.
The trick is combining weight training and cardio.. Like that you can maintain the muscle in his voluptious ass (lol), and at the same time making sure that fat is shed from it.. THats whats going to give you the firm manly lower body you want.. You just do cardio, your body will get smaller, you'll still look like a coke bottle, but a smaller one... if you don't want to end up looking good in a bikini, then train muscle and do some cardio on the side (JUST NOT BY ITSELF)..

Fat on the face is one of the last fat to go...So keep focused on your diet, stay away from fast food and limit your alcohol consumption to not more than 3 servings per week. limit meat consumption to not more than 3 days a week. Avoid fatty foods where possible. Eat lots of veggies and fruits and drink lots of water. Avoid Sodas if at all possible. Maintain a good exercise routine.

Like others have said, you can't spot reduce...but you can change what you eat and your habits and that will help a lot.

Some things are just genetics, which you have very little, if any, control over.

Best,

J-Dub
