Never really used Craigslist myself before, and just thought i'd give it a bash.

Anyone had any real success with it?

Whats your tips and suggestions for making a ad?

The biggest issue (at least in the nyc area) is avoiding the spammers.
you have to look for post titles that don't fit the formula. Another way to tell that it's real is if they use a unique neighborhood, or type in caps, etc.
Overall though, I've only been disappointed by CL. Okcupid has worked much better for me.

CL = NO NO NO. Im sorry but in San Francisco area all i got was spam. I emailed 15-20 girls and its all spam. Somtimes its soo good that u can even tell the diff untill 2 to 3 emails later. I would use myspace or facebook but im 20 so its a lot easier for me to find my age group (sorry didnt check ur age so idk)

I have had quite good success w/CL. I will say though, that it is part of why i got into learning real life game....I feel like I'm good at getting a girl heated up via email...and that translated into first date bangs in every single CL case. And no these girls were not ugly in the least. Maybe I was lucky. They were mostly horny grad students.

true - i'd say 96% of what i see (i live in a big city) is fake. There are programs that post the same ads in every city.

And I'd say 85% of what's real, are not hot.

This is why I usually post my own ad. When you post an original, unusual ad...it just illustrates how women are aching for something new from dudes. I think that's why I've been successful. Same with pickup in real life of course..

My modality whenever posting one of those is a) there is no semblance of frustration...it's the virtual equivalent of being ready to walk away at any time and b) I define myself, my world, make it look awesome, and then I describe the awesome chick I hope to meet, in a non-desperate sounding way. The last hottie I banged on there told me "you played it really well in your ad, you know."

I'm still working on translating this shit into real-life game...but take it for what it's worth

In my opinion you should not use Craigslist to find chicks EVER.

Unless of course you're looking for hookers, herpes, undercover cops, and about 99% spam. I've lived in several major cities and its all the same, after deleting through 50+ emails from spam sites you'll find one thats either a hooker or some unattractive chick with an std.
