Some people seem to find the Atkins diet to be a mistake, but I lost 17 pounds in 3 weeks using it. I'm about ready to quit it because it is too restrictive.

Does anyone have any advice on how I can slowly start to integrate good carbs into my diet? I don't want to put the weight back on.

Is there a risk of introducing too many carbs too quickly? Will my body be shocked?

Any insight would be appreciated.

How to transition off atkins? Best way is to not go on Atkins to begin with!

Unfourtunatly I think youll gain water weight right off the bat!
Limit the carbs and start off slow. Start with fruits veggies and natural starches (potatoes sweet potatoes) in moderation dont gorge yourself. And monitor your calories. Than add other carbs slowly back in. But good luck and happy eating just watch those fingers dont bite them off
