its been a while sense i have posted so i figured i would post do and donts of hair products. at least this is what works for me. but no shampoo tips, read the damn bottle.

1). Intro
A). Short hair
B). Middle length hair
C). Shaggy and longer

Hair is a nessasary part of peacocking unless your bald. even if you have a hat on you should style your hair as the target will most likey take you hair hiding apparatus. so this is a short index of what type of gel works best for what length hair.

Gel and glue are 2 different things in which have different applications.

A). Short hair
For short hair applications i recommend a full body gel. something like got 2 be with a 8 out of 10 on the grip scale or ice. (the ice bottle says styling glue but it is more of a full body gel with amazing grip.). you can tell but its color and density, for short hair applications you do not need a renforcer like a spray, but you must be sure to keep reforming your hair if it gets out of place. you may also find full body gels in colors where they color your hair, use them for anything other than clubs ad hot days as they don't hold as well in my opinion and will melt color onto your forehead. do not use a colorless glue as they dry too fast and you will not be able do bunch your hair into bigger spikes.

B). Middle length
I describe this length as the time when you can form a decent sized fauxhawk. this is also the only stage when you should use glue. glue can be identifed as clearer and it will not bunch your hair into large groups, but will make lots of small groups; and it drys ridicuouly fast.(most times before i make it down the stairs.). Glue has its benifits in the fact you can arrange it how you want with out having to worry about your hair moving at all, and i find perfect for mohawk fauxhawk, spikes,(but not liberty spikes) and general sloppiness. glue also does not give you that shine like a full body gel will. you if you want shine crew makes a great shine wax.

C). Shaggy Hair and longer
I describe as when glue doesnt work that well. for this form not matter what style i recomend you go back to the full body gel for whatever your applications will need. the only difference is to add a glue layer to the outside then use a aerosol spry for reinforcement for longer length hair, for shaggy hair just use the gel and spray

finialy if anybody has the idea wow he has a lot of time on his hands, yes i do, 4 hours cause one of my classes were canceled

this is what i use. I have middle/long length hair...it's awesome cause it's flexible. You can mess with and it will keep it's hold and shine all day/night. i have got so many compliments from both girls and guys about my hair since i've been using it. guys open me all the time at the bar, "dude, how do you get your hair to look like that?" you can get it pretty much anywhere hair products are sold. Meijer even has it. it's kind of expensive though. like $15 or $20 a jar. http://www.americancrew.com/fb/pomade.gif

You overlooked another breed of hair.

I've been blessed with self peacocking hair (extremely curly). I'm constantly ridiculed by guys but they shut up when I get opened by random girls everywhere and even their girlfriends tend to make a big deal of it.

Most guys who have curly keep it cut. If you are prepared to take care of it, you should def. grow it out. It is a lot of work though because the hair behaves differently according to the type of water and requires constant attention.

You need a good stylist who knows how to layer curly hair, shampoo and condition every morning. You also need apply small amounts of anti friz gel and tease with a comb so you have no flat spots caused by gravity. Comb while its wet to get knots out and if it rains, and humidity friz's it regardless.
