I met a solid 8.5 for a first date from an online dating site. We had talked about 3 days and she was what i would describe as "uber-eager" to meet. We exchanged numbers 2 days before and she texted me about 12 times a day. I couldn't even keep up. Needless to say, I thought she'd be really bubbly when we met.

Opposite. She was very reserved and walked all fast and shit around the venue (museum; drinks not possible; she doesn't drink). At the end of the date, she says 'we should do this again soon'.

I'm not asking a lame 'what is going on here' question. I'm just asking how you have dealt with a very reserved/nervous girl on a first date. I kino'ed a bit with little response. Hard to be playful in that case but should you just soldier on playfully?
