I think you make valid points, and I have to stick with my original argument!

A side point to this is the sensationalist language you appear to believe gives credence to your argument, it is unnecessary and I believe does the opposite.
Everyone has different opinions, and I'm not looking to gang up with people to change society here. My main goal is to make this place better! Thats been my main goal since i signed up here. This forum was like the underdog to all the other forums out there, which brought some of the finest young talent from around the world. It was beautiful once, but now its somewhat loosing its buoyancy as forum traffic is greatly reduced. One of the forum members showed me a website that prints out statistics for usage, and i was quite shocked to see this site suffering deeply.
This can be from many things, but the first place you have to point the finger at is administration. I didn't like how I was dealt with by Chief, I wanted to further unravel the forum's guts to see if there was anything in place about administrator rules, or rights for users etc... I ended up discovering that there was nothing, and I began to question the system.
At the very core, you have to understand that I genuinely, just want the best for this forum. And I expressed deep concern with the forum rules, simply because they have so much gaps and arnt clear enough for your average user. With such muddy views and "rules" you can't really decipher whats appropriate conduct and what isn't. How is one supposed to know?? "common knowledge" for one is unknown territory for another. The world works on rules... and so do we!
I also didn't like the word "ban". There was no way of seeing how people were banned. It was mainly a group decision by various moderators, who are by no means above anyone else here... they try to live up to the title.. but i think the point is being missed completely.
What is the difference between a mentor, administrator, or moderator in this forum? does anyone know? Zip even calls herself forum mummy... how can you take someone seriously with that type of title? etc... etc...
If you want good results you have to run things by the book. You have to make sure everything is clear, defined and professional. So members don't randomly get banned and flame the forum to all their friends who signed up etc...
The greatest destroyer is word of mouth. If one person gets banned, thats 1 person who will tell 10 more people, who will inturn tell 10 people after that...
it works if you have rules by which to ban accounts, therefor it will be adequately justified, and the user has little to brag about. Again thats not the case here at all. We don't really have rules here!

Oh with permission from brad you are allowed to advertise your products, so could be worth talking to him.
As I'm aware, hes not on this forum, he sold it to AFC Adam.

Next I pose a question, you claim to live with some people on the forum ie the same building and yet be a dating coach but they appear to be in school still. Can you once and for all clear up the situation.
My private life is no concern to anyone on this forum but myself. One might surmise that because I'm a traveling performer, whether it be in the theater or music industry, I'm often placed in positions where I am jammed with allot of other people

... Or it could be that I'm studying two master degrees back to back... and thats how university lodging is... or I could be just giving a reason for the sake of making a point. Either way its truly no ones concern! And dosn't need justification nor explanation. The forum moderator can't jump to any assumptions without asking the user prior.

The very fact you understood the rules well enough to re-write them kinda shows they are fine in my opinion.
Yeah but I've been a forum administrator for allot of years! When I was studying in high school i used to get casual jobs managing forums, servers, etc... I see where the forum rules are heading, I just want to bring them to the better, more clear level. That's all! Nothing wrong with having a pristine system in place, later no one can complain if they brake it.

The age of moderator thing - this forum deals (in places) with sexual content (albeit in stories). Films have certificates on them so why shouldn't a forum? A person aged 18 is more likely to have sexual experience and thus give advice on it (essentially a skill they have the younger doesn't. Yes there are exceptions).
As i understand it we have certain forum members here who are 13 years old! There is no age requirement to post on here, so if your being a administrator, why should you have a age requirement to administer? why would it matter? Again if there was something in place saying
18+ requirement to post in this forum.... then cool, I get your point! However nothing like that exists!
You can't make contradictory rules! You cant allow 13 year olds to post here and then say, nah fuck off, sexual content, you can't be a admin...
That's just outright stupid, why let them in to begin with?
