Whats up Guys?? im Kyle and brand spankin new to the game as of last week. Im a laid back, good lookin 23 year old from Phoenix AZ. I havent really had much practice 'opening' at all and not to be a dick but some (not all!) of the openers i have read on here just sound downright cheesy or lame. Im the kind of guy that tends to 'freeze up'(mind goes blank) around girls, i need some good openers. This is an opener i thought of yesterday that i believe has the potential to be godamn amazing. It just seems to be a win win situation. It could work with 1 girl or a group of girls.

Here goes:

(The approach.. walk up with your best smile and confident voice tone) ''Hi, im ____ nice to meet you!" (after that you can make a comment on a clothing accessory, small neg, etc etc) then say...''Would you like to buy me a drink?

If she says ''YES'' then your Golden, she has obviously already shown interest in you, you have DHV'd her, and you are guaranteed a good 5 minutes (at least) with this girl (s)

If this is a group of girls try to get the 'ugly' one to buy the drink for you, you can then give her a comment ''you know your a very intelligent girl!" (after she agrees to buy you a drink) look at her friends "you guys should take after your friend...shes smart.. yada yada yada'' This will create a little jealousy from the other girls.

If she says ''NO/MAYBE/WHY'' then reply with (DO NOT TRY TO SOUND LIKE A CAR SALESMAN THIS IS KEY) ''you know buying me a drink could potentially be a great investment... (remember to smile) just think about it, if your a good girl/lucky.... i might even buy YOU a drink later, maybe even two. hell i might as well turn out to be one of the coolest guys you'll ever meet!!!'' (get creative here, the key is to spark some interest and convince her that buying you a drink will be good for her)

If this works then your good to go from here. ask her some open ended questions and enjoy your free drink!

If she still says ''NO'' after that then she's probably a bitch and doesnt even deserve a drink from you or anyone else. period!!! how much is a drink these days?? three to seven dollars average come on!!!

If you start stumbling/losing your game remember you can always turn to her, smile and say ''thanks for the investment/drink'' and walk off with your FREE DRINK.... hell she might even follow you if you do that!

I see it as an all around win win situation. Think about it.. the worst that can happen is that she wont buy you a drink, and you waste 25 seconds with her and walk off. If it goes well, which i assume would happen most of the time if you keep it cool, You get a free drink, and your pretty much locked into a 5-10 minute conversation with this girl(s) that has chosen to INVEST in your time.



Like I said im very new to the game, but i will be trying this soon. This is not field tested yet. Let me know how this works and what reactions you get. We can modify it from there. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS THINK OF THIS ONE! Now go out there and tear it up!

I think the inital opener is simple and easy to use however going round asking for a drink seems to give off the wrong impressions. Dont get me rong you can still ask as its good for teating etc but i think it might be thrown in a bit too early and it may lower your value if ure poncing a drink from a stranger? Also the no section definitly needs some work ill have to think of something and get bak to you.

I think it sucks.


Why would anyone want to buy you a drink for no reason? You need high value for that, and telling her your name off the bat if ANYTHING lowers it immediately.. then asking for a free drink is even worse.

This would work if you're an actor or something.


In general, any opener having to do with getting money from someone is bad. You can do this to people you know even if you've only met them that night.

the idea is good but i'm pretty sure the "would you like to buy me a drink" opener has been done a lot before. its certainly not new! as with any opener the worst that could happen is that you get a big fat rejection but as you said you've wasted probably less than a minute and you've learned something!

I have learned the hard way that involving women to buy you a drink may not be the best way because if you do so, it makes her wonder whether you are worth her money. Basically she has to balance if you are worth it or not and if you do this in a early state ( when you havent builded up enough comfort and trust ) she will probably flake you. She has other options. She can for example meet a new guy who will buy HER a drink...
Nowdays, when i play DHV- games i usually dont bet drinks, instead i use something more extraordinary stuff to bet on where is no "economy" involved.
