You have probably seen them before but they are belts which light up with letters like a sign in front of a strip club.

'i like pink (or whatever colour dress a girl your trying to pick up) dresses on my bedroom floor!'

and I think the best peacocking item you can have if your ballsy are interesting tatoos (like sleeves) but thats probably more of a cultural thing. Very common in Australia.
