| Hey guys,
O.K so I met this girl when i was just 12 years old (yeah i said 12!), she was a neighbor and we became really good friends and stayed that way, but as you have already guessed, the friend zone is not where i wanted to be, anyway, then when i was 15 she moved away and that was that, we spoke a little on msn etc and contact just fizzled away. The a few months later she spotted me when i was out shopping and to my surprise, she was really happy, she gave me a big hug and we spoke for about 15 mins and then we went our separate ways. Since then we have had no contact..... until now, i recently joined facebook and guess who's face popped up under friend suggestions... you got it, her. Well i checked out her profile and she has now just started university about 80 miles away from me but she comes back at weekends to see her friends and go clubbing. Now i think i should tell you that i am a major AFC, i have a love for game but a little trouble putting it into practice, i'm a fat guy but it doesn't really bother me, i'm still quite confident most of the time. So anyway 2 days ago i plicked up some courage and added her on facebook, i didn't want it just to be something she could forget about easily so i sent a short message with the friend request just saying something like "hey, don't i no u from somewhere?" just as a little joke and then said something like "come and talk to me." I was confident that she would accept me and she did, and she even sent me a message back, but all she said was "lol! hows be you!?"...
and now i'm stuck, what should i say back, i mean she hasn't really spent that much time thinking about her answer so does that correspond to the value she sees me at?
Do you guys see anything I am doing wrong. My first thought when i saw she was on facebook was to just ignore it, we haven't seen each other for 2 years .. .leave it in the past...but ever since, i haven't been able to stop thinking about her. When we were close we were very young (12-15) so i know that it was probably just a teenage thing but i really did like her more than i've liked any girl since and she's stuck in my brain ?!? I would like to see her again and am thinking about seeing if she is coming back here next week ... i'm going clubbing for my birthday ... maybe there is some kind of hook there. What do you guys think? and please be blunt if you think it's necessary. Sorry this is a long post.
