| Okay, so you definetly want to stay away from the whole "hopeless romantic" persona. Hollywood makes it out to be sweet, but in truth, it sucks. If you told her she's pretty, you already gave away the upper hand and are DLV to her. You're best bet is to look for a situational opener at this point, because whle you've opened on the internet, opening in person is diferent.
For example, lets say you notice she has a picture of a friends or something. The best thing you can do is ask about the picture, and then transition to more information about yourself (needless to say interesting information). Here, you'll DHV and impress her (covertly), and then just as your building some sort of connection say you have to leave and promise to meet her later. This way, you'll still perserve yourself, and if you were interesting enough she might think about you for a few more moments.
As far as nervousness, the best thing to do is GET OVER IT. I know that oversimplifies, but walk with your chin up, chest out, and speak slowly and clearly. If you fool her into thinking you're self confident, you'll eventually become confident. _________________ -Duke
