There's this girl that I use to date for a long time. We went from boyfriend/girlfriend to something in between and then to friends with benefits. Our relationship ended all together when I ultimately cut off talking to each other. Today I chose to write her. I essentially apologized for things ending the way they did. I then wrote that I want to reconnect (not in sexual way, just in a way that's not awkward or fake). If she ends up replying, how would you guys recommend I interact so we can remain friends and maybe go back to something more when we're in the same city over the holidays?
