Like the title says, this was my first time actually going in field and testing out everything I learned. I went out eating with my family at a restaraunt located in a mall, and after eating my family split up to check out stores.

While I was heading to the book store, I happened to glance into this candy shop, and I see this crazy beutiful HB9 hired gun just sitting there looking bored, so I applied the 3 second rule and went in.

Since the store was empty and she was by herself, I took the time to look around at all the different kinds of candy they have, and paid attention to the ones that they did not have. I make a comment to the HB saying "My god, you really seem to have your hands full with all these people eh?" she smiles at me and says that she is so bored, so I took it as a IOI and began the conversation.


I asked if they had some different kinds of candy, knowing full well that they dont. Every time she told me she didnt have the candy, I would tell her how she is ruining my day\life\everything. After teasing her, I start asking her about the stores in the mall, and if she ever goes to them, and she says no. I tell her about a laser tag place that used to be near a book store that got turned into a salon, and she tells me how she was mad that the book store was gone because she loves books. Her saying she loved books made me love her even more, so I asked her what she likes to read, and she tells me she loves reading about ancient rome and mythology and such, which raised my interest in her by a million. I ask her questions about her favorite gods, teasing her all along the way, and then my dad then enters the store, which makes me nervous, so I tense up and ask her if I could have her number before I go, because I would love talking about chocolate, gods, and bacon with her. She writes down her name and number, and I feel completely awesome. I exit the store with a fat woody.

So how do you fellas think I did? Comments and Criticism?

I would just advice you to watch out for one thing:
Fast number closes like this that involves no kino or escalation but just talk can sometimes lead to issues when it comes to setting up day 2.

Yor tactics were good though, you should be proud.

However; I have done a lot of these really fast number closes, sometimes within seconds the problem then is that you catch the girl off guard so when you call her, she will have had time to think of a reason not to see you.

I have two ways of dealing with this:
1. Find something mutual, in this case you had the mythology books, tell her about some great thing you guys could do together that relates to that, and then take her number, this way you will already have the first "date" set up nd she will even be excited about it!

2. Call her, introduce yourself and before she says anything, before she has time to reject you (not saying she will but don't give her the chance) throw in a disqualifier, something that makes her think all you want is friendship, this will make her feel more comfortable and when you see each other for day 2 you can start playing the game again and build the attraction, the important thing is that you get day 2.

Now there is a third option, a little more bold, and sometimes more efficient. I'm not an expert on this one but I know it works.
Don't call her, text her, and start playing a cocky/naughty sexual text game with her, drive her crazy until she suggests the date, this takes practice but is useful because when you see her on day 2 your work will already be done before hand!

Thanks a lot for the replies guys. Like you mentioned, there was no time for kino escalation, so I knew I might have trouble with setting up a day 2. The one problem I really have, is that my car will be in the shop for another week, so I need a way to keep in touch with her, so I will most likely have to rely on phone game. If I feel like it, is it ok to call her a couple of times in the week, or does it make me look needy?

It's hard to say, it totally depends on how well you connected, how you presented yourself to her and what type of person she is. I set up a date a week a head of time last week and we talked almost every day up until that, Ive also had dates where i only talk to them once.
If you can pull the first call of really well it is totally doable, have something fun to talk about, you could have a convo topic that you both kind of "research" before next time you talk, or you both see the same movie you can talk about that.
This is why I always try to have day 2 soon afterwards because these situations are unpredictable..
Just take it easy to begin with until you can sense what the situation is like

I am pretty sure I am going to have to stick to phone game until my car is fixed. I feel like I am over analyzing everything, maybe its just because this was my first number close? I am pretty nervous too.
