I'm an AFC in Chicago. I've been opening pretty well. I have trouble reaching the hook point. I do DayGame. I don't know how to follow up with a transition. I open with what her opinion is on something. I say, "My friends ex just dumped him because he isn't exactly like Edward Cullen. The freak from Twilight. He's been living in my basement for the past few weeks. What do you think of this girl? And what should I do to get my friend back on his feet?"

They usually say tell him to get a life. What can I do to improve my opener and hit the hook point?? How do I transition? These are my hook points for now.

Hey my friend i would not use that opener but that's just me. The reason i wouldn't use that opener is because you are already making your friend look bad and the answer they give to tell him to get a life is justifiable. I understand the point of your opener but the fact that your saying hes not Edward Cullen looking and that he locked himself in the basement is not how a man should handle things. By you saying that your value will decrease because you are friends with him and from what i got from your opener is it its a guy whose struggling from a bad relationship its a man that is letting it destroy his life and bring him down. Regardless of whether this friend is real or not there are better openers out there that can help you transition easier. For instance i use an opener which starts off asking the women would you ever get a bf's name tattooed on your shoulder. This has worked great for me because my routine is strictly made so that i follow this opener up with a beautiful story that is loaded with dhv spikes. So look back and find an opener that can help you transition to a story right after this will help your game.
