I am having trouble at the initial part of the game. I am very new to this, and so I am a bit confused with all of the material and steps and processes that have to go on in your head. My sticking point is before the actual opener. I sometimes have a little bit of approach anxiety, but I usually get past that and approach.

When I do this, I usually forget my openers, and have to resort to opening in a dull regular way, like "hey what's up?" or something. When I do remember my opener, I either feel to awkward to say it to her, or I just don't. When I do, I don't think it actually attracts her, I think she just thinks I'm weird.

How did you get past your opener sticking point / how do you approach and open?

Just build your confidence in interacting with people. Talk to random girls with no expectations. Dont go in thinking 'I want a n/k/f close to result from this', just go in thinking, I'm going to talk to this girl. If you feel yourself stuck for something to say, just say 'I've gotta get going now, was nice meeting you.' Then make your exit. But dont go in with expectations, just go in confident and talk. Learn to be comfortable in yourself. Then learn to be comfortable talking to people. Then just treat them as anyone else.

I can empathize Sharplin here and it's just your AA getting the best of you and screwing up your approach. Blend is spot on just build your confidence. Do the Svengali newbie mission if you really want to overcome your AA!

Get some chairs and find out exactly how rto open a set of chairs, if you can;t do that you have no chance with a breathing women.
