Alot of people participating in this forum consider themselves naturals.

These people are as rare as a blue moon. The first example that pops in my head is Vincent Chase who is the main character of the hit show "ENTOURAGE". If you have seen the show you will know that although its all acting, the character is portrait as a true natural who has been fucking since grade 6. There is no such thing as a natural who is a pua. They are two different entities.

Its a quality you are born with hence the word "natural". These people do not think... they react naturally or the environment reacts to them. Although you can always compete or even overcome a naturals success but not without a bit of planning or thinking. If shes a HB8,9,10,11 it makes no difference to these people.

on the 4 phases of competence everyone in pick up has their place

Naturals are at the fourth phase: Unconscious Competence.

AFCs are at the first phase: Unconscious Incompetence.

rAFCs are at the the second phase: Conscious Incompetence.

PUAs are at the third phase: Conscious Competence.

Natural PUAs (As you suggest don't exist) are at the proposed fifth phase which can only be described as Consciousness of Unconscious Competence.

Basically, Natural PUAs act in the moment and make their decisions just because (and it works) and can then look back over what they did and recognize why it works and why they did it at the time.

Ya. It's actually a pretty good learning model that David DeAngelo discusses in his seminars. Unconscious Incompetence is when you son't even know that you can't do something (i.e. when you are 12yr old, you don't even consider driving a car).
