| I'm a newbie and been 'working' on a major hottie at work and thought I was making progress. I have been following a lot of advice here about confidence, being little cocky, aloof, etc. However, now this other guy, another co-worker is making moves and I've been catching her staring at him a lot. Anyway, the girl and I are both 29 and the other guy is in is late 30's. I think I'm dealing with a real master. I have to admit the guy is built like a fricken monster, he must be a bobybuilder. I'm average built myself. I'm beginning to think looks matter more to women than what most guys say here.
However, I've noticed he has some unusual seduction techniques and wonder what the experts here think. Here is what he did...
All of us was outside on lunch break and I heard her say to him, "I like your car I love muscle cars." He does have a nice 67 Chevelle. He replied back to her, "You really like it?" She said, "Yes, I love it" and he said, "Too bad, you can't have it." It was actually kind of funny and everybody laughed but her. She looked really pissed.
Another time, he insulted her in the lunch room by walking by her and saying "Still eating, didn't you have enough?" She put her head down and he just walked away but said to her "I'm just joking."
I saw her what I think was testing him the other day by bragging about her new BF (probably bullshit) and at first he just ignored her but she kept at it to get a response from him. Saying he buys her a lot of stuff. Finally, he said to her, "It sounds like you can do a lot better than him." I thought this was a big mistake to put down the BF? But guess what, as he started to walk away, she literally chased after him and kissed him on the chick. Then grabbed his arm and said 'wow you have big muscles.' The guy just smiled and said to her "goodluck with your boyfriend." and he just walked away.
What I don't understand is despite all the insults and mistakes this guy is making, she seems to want him badly. I guess my chances are down the drain. What do you guys think? Last I heard, they had lunch together and did not come back to work for the day. He's probably pounding her - lucky bastard!
