Hey all, well since I'm just learning the game I figured I shoud start thinking about my clothing and peacocking. Only problem is I can't think of much. What have you guys found that works well for you? And What about good props?

Clothing is a big one I usually wear tight brightly colored v-necks and t-shirts which show off the biceps. However these might not be congruent with your personality and depending on your body type might not suit. Find clothing you personally enjoy and that presents you in a good way.

As for props there are many, Hair, Jewelery, Shoes, A Guitar, Your Car, An interesting cocktail drink or even a cool pair of Sunglasses. Again must be congruent with your personality this doesn't mean stereotype yourself though that is the last thing you want to do and it defeats the purpose of peacocking. Also don't go overboard and try to include too much.

Going by your name and your sig your in the army right? Why not wear dogtags or camo?

Perhaps sharing the new look I'm working on will give you some ideas. I'll go from head to toe (and by the way, all images were plucked from Google):

Hat:
Image or Image
>I figure the white will stand out very nicely.

Piercings
>I do not want to go all the way (at least not yet), so I will use fakes. Two on the top of the right ear, one on the lobe of the left.

Hair:

Facial Hair:
For now, clean - later, goatee?

Neck:
Feather Boa
>For lock-ins

Hands:
Have the fingers exposed - you know the look - on either on hand or both.

Torso - Outer:
Image Image (So cute!)
Bomber Jacket OR Vest

Torso - Inner:
Random, brightly colored shirt

Pants:
Jeans or pin-stripped

Shoes:
Chucks or nice-ish brown shoes?

I hope that gives you some food for thought. I'll take a pic when I've got everything assembled.

Yeh man that would look pretty awesome, gotta watch with the hair though it can be difficult to grow and style especially if you have short hair just now, but in my opinion it is worth it, used to have long hair myself. Also long hair can look feminine without the stubble/goatee if you have a young face. The jacket is very smart looking. And I think nice shoes would go better than chuck's if your wearing the vest top but you might pull it off with the jacket. It is entirely your choice of course don't let anyone decide this stuff for you.

Oops, I believe this is called high-jacking a thread. Thanks for the advice, though, AlphaLion. Hopefully, the examples I gave spawned some ideas in soldierboy1's head.
