Lately I’ve been having my downs when it comes to sarging. I can open sets, but the convo doesn’t move beyond the opener (probably since my targets aren’t interest in what I say). To correct this issue, I decided to up my energy a bit more and see if that caught my target’s attention. Here’s my story.

I decided to go out and sarge in San Jose with both Buck (from this forum) and Tommy (from another forum). Once we made it to the club venue, it was time to start approaching. However, I was experiencing massive anxiety and started cooking up excuses to try and not approach. Fortunately, I mustered enough courage to open up a three set, all of which happened to be gorgeous Asian ladies.

Me: Hey, I only have a quick minute but would you guys consider it weird for a guy to get a tongue piercing?

Them: No, not really….

I remembered to walk up to them with a very warm smile and full of energy. Not surprisingly, they responded happily. While one of them looked annoyed that I joined the group, the other two looked pretty engaged in what I was saying. I then decided to DHV by throwing in the best friends test. (I try not to use this too much as it would risk someone calling me out on reading the Game.) Luckily, all of them started laughing and started to warm up to me. To test and see if they really were into me, I decided to get up and make a false take away. One of them tried to grab my attention by throwing in more comments about tongue piercings.

I wanted to number close one of the girls, but I couldn’t find the perfect opportunity to isolate and ask for her number. No problem, I head out to look for some more fish.

I meet up with both Tommy and Buck who were doing their own thing. We spot these two super hott girls who looked like models. Initially, Tommy had opened these two girls with a direct opener. (Pretty ballsy) Now it was my turn to see if I could progress the interaction with them. I walk up to them, confidently, and use my opener.

Me: Serious question, When a turtle loses his shell, is he naked or homeless? (I saw this opener in this forum, props to who ever came up with it)

Them: (laughing) What are you trying to trick us?

Me: Well of course not, this is actually a question that has been plaguing the intellectual community for years.

Them: (laughing more)

I felt pretty good at this point. I was making both of them laugh and both looked accepting to having me there. I was pretty much in.

We talked for a while about where they were from and what they did. It turned out that they were from Europe coming here to check out the U.S. I also noticed that they were pretty shy for hott girls. Nevertheless, I tried to once again number close but couldn’t do it.

The main point of this post is to illustrate the importance of energy. I’ve now come to realize that approaching people with the correct energy could determine the difference between them rejecting your approach or accepting you approach.
