today at a pizza buffet:

me: hey, do you guys have any white cheese pizza left?
her: iunno, i think i can go check, hold on...yeah we do, but ill have to cook it, is that ok?
me: nahh, were trying to get to a movie and i just wanted something to bring along. (smiling)
her: ohh ok, (returns the smile)

i could sense it going dead, since she thought it was just a business convo, so....

me: you know, you look familiar by the way. (always gets a conversation lol. old reliable.)
her: hm....where from?
me: iunno, do you go to (school?)
her: nah, i was homeschooled. (cue the line of spontaneoous people to walk in)
me: well hey, i gotta run and im holding you up, but i thought you were kinda cute too. so could i get your number, and we could hang sometime? im sure you could take a break from your pizza life, haha.
her: well i dont actually have my number memorized, could i call you instead? ill give you some paper.

well i write it down. she smiles and introduces herself as....well i forgot her name lol. then she goes "ill see you soon" as i walk out the door.

you asked for permission for her number, by saying can I call you, next time tell her. (I'll call/text you, what is your number)

usually when a bitch says some obvious shit like that, I just roll out, but it shouldn't have happened if you built comfort but you didn't invest time you did an AFC move of asking interview questions and zooming in straight for the number.

lol i know what i did was very, very, very bad. ha. but read my supermarket number close as well as some of my other posts, im not bad at what i do, and i know how to do it. besides, i had friends waiting, a movie deadline, and a line of about 15 people she needed to take care of in order to talk to me again. i figured just fuck it and go afc...its not like shes the only girl in the entire world.

I wouldn't qualify this as a number close man. "Well i dont actually have my number memorized" ... Are you kidding me? That's almost always bs. I think you'll be a lucky man if she actually calls you. I mean, the "i'll take your number" trick is pretty much the same as getting a fake number... she just didn't have the sand to lie to your face... But I'm just talking from experience here. Correct me if i'm wrong, or you get a call from her, lol

nah, this is the second time this has happened, once at a gas station where it was my first time opening a set. she called me back the next day. as with this girl, she called me right after she got off work and left a voicemail asking if theres any empty seats in the movie. i dont really sweat it if they ask for mine because 2 out of 2 times its worked fine. but thanks guys, i was just getting back into game after a little break and was obviously pressed for time and really rusty lol.
