i want to approach her, but i have to open perfectly because there are way too many guys hitting on her. i was thinking about approaching her friend first, and then say something like "i didn't ask you, silly" to neg her. is that a good idea?

Dude you are putting toooooo much value into opening her, the longer you wait the worse it will get, don't open her, just do something to get her attention even if it's for 3 secs, you see her every day anyways....

I was listening to David DeAngelo's "Sexual Communication" and he said something along the lines of going up to such and such ridiculously hot girl and saying in a cocky and funny way, "Hey, you know, I realized you're probably shy because you don't get much attention from guys so I thought I'd come over here and pay attention to you. what's up?"

another thing, is it better to use a direct opener ("hi i think you're cute, i needed to talk to you") or a sort of story telling opener for hb10? what do they like more?

There is no way to tell what a HB10 likes as a opener. Besides it is better to open girls in your own way then using some "formula" way to open them. Also you may want to change your direct opener as it shows weakness. Why do you need to talk to her? That makes sound desperate/needdy. Its better to say that you want to talk to her. Its comes of more strongly.

Dude you can do that! BUT if you do it and you get blown out, you are kinda f*ked, because you will see her AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN, AND HER FRIENDS AGAIN AND AGAIN. It isn't like a cold approach where if you get blown out it's okay because there is a very small chance you will see her, or even if you do there are more girls.... So it's your choice ....
