Yes, Religious, but as a modern satanist, it's not so much religious as philosophical. We believe we are our own gods, and make the choices that affect our life. The guy who wrote the satanic bible, Anton LaVey, even wrote a pickup manual for women back in the 60's, called the Satanic witch. It's surprising what a guy from the 60's knew about 'pickup', back in the day. I'd suggest everyone to read it, young, old, male and female. You can learn alot if you have an open mind.

Wouldn't the correct term be "LaVeyan Satanist".. .... however I'm currently un-certain whether the arch-typals are just a sect of Laveyans that don't follow his book..

Technically yes, I'm a LaVeyan, but to be honest, i didn't think anyone here would have known what i meant if i went into detail :P Not to be confused with theistic satanists (who actually believe the devil is a living being, walking the earth. Or rebel satanists, who are basically all those metal-head posers trying to act out and be cool. They don't know shit.

Fucking Hell I was wondering when someone would point out there being some similarity between certain 'Philosophies' of Pick Up and LaVeyan Satanism. :P But yeah didn't say anything for the same reason that people would get the wrong impression.

Also a lot of 'metal head' Satanists metal scene these days tend to be pretty intelligent and well educated in their area. It is rare to have mere 'rebel' Satanists in that scene these days, most fit more in the theistic mould. Most so called 'rebel' ones are a bunch of alienated losers who vent their frustrations by turning to extremist ideaologies.

Never thought in a million years I'd be chatting about this shit in a PUA forum!!!

Gluttony
Greed
Pride
Envy
Wrath
Sloth
Lust

For most of us, that last one is alot easier if you're a PUA :P

It's kind of funny. My pastor always said the whole thing about sex is irrelevant... Then again, I'm not Catholic.

I'm religious, and I see nothing wrong with doing pickup. I don't agree with alot (most) of the people in the community. for example, I don't have sex. The way I see it is, if I can get to the point where I can get any girl I want (for the most part) then I have a choice, and I don't fall for the first one that comes along, which I see all too often. So this saves me from divorce. So in a way, I think God wants me to be a pua.

I don't believe in religion. Religion really destroys a lot of things for people. There minds become restricted and controlled with all the teachings, with all the things you need to do and don't do. To be a good buddhist, muslim, christian etc. It's kind of depressing really. Who gives a fuck what happens after we die?. We should live are lives to the fullest and not worry about hell, heaven or all that rambling bull****

Yeah I believe in God and I'm religious aswell.. and right now I'm having the worst time ever, struggling between fucking a HB9 and being a good catholic...

ohhhhhhhh this sucks
just fuck her. who gives a shit????

don't let religion control you
let me guess.. atheist?

yeah weak or lacking religion gives people a simpler view of things... although emptier aswell

things aren't so easy for we religious ppl due to our Faith
So all atheists have emptier views?
I'm an atheist but i'm also a secular hummanist, I believe that we should focus on all the positive things in our lives rather than focusing on the negetives for the benefits of myself and humanity. That view is far from empty.
Don't commit an inductive leap, just because one atheist has empty views doesn't in any shape or form hold account for the rest.
