| In field approach report - Day time:
Well I saw an attractive girl in the uni' hallway and decided to approach. She was ahead of me, so I lightly jogged up to catch up behind her to say, "excuse me", while giving her a light tap on the arm. As soon as this happened, and as i got her attention during that split second, I swing around in front of her while maintaining good distance (all in a smooth and natural motion). I tell her, "Hi, I just noticed you pass by, and I think you're very cute; I just had to come say hi. I'm (introduce myself)" she smiles, and we shake hands. She's a bit surprised by me and forgets to tell me her name, so i ask her, her name - and she tells me it.
We continue walking, but I had to get to my next class so i tell her, "This is gunna sound strange but i'm really getting late for my next class, is it ok if i can get your phone number so i can see you again?"
She tells me, "I have a boyfriend"
To that i said,"Boyfriend, of course you have a boyfriend, look at you"
She smiles again. Then I tell her, "well since i'm really getting late for my next class, i won't persist. But it was really nice meeting you"
we shake hands again and i go upon my way.
All in all this was my first approach in a long time. I felt smooth and confident throughout the meeting and felt that even though i didn't get the girl, she seemed happy and gave me positive reactions (aside from ultimately telling me she's already tied to someone, which didn't feel much like a rejection as i did see a ring on her finger).
So what i was hoping for was mere feedback from experienced guys of my approach and encounter. I did go direct, i feel that i have the confidence to tell a girl what i think and what i want. Any further tips, suggestions are always welcomed.
Thanks guys.
