This might sound like a weird question.

I barely got over my AA (I still get it though), and I am still in the learning phase of everything. Anyways, Friday before last I number closed this girl at the bookstore. I can already tell, we are not that compatible. She's kind of a party girl who experiments with certain drugs, and is into graffiti and such. I only party with close friends occasionally, don't do drugs, other than alcohol, and salvia (Even though I like to talk about drugs because I find the subject interesting!), I practice abstinence, and I try to be a good catholic. Still, somehow we are able to have a good conversation! So I got her number, and called a few days later, last Tuesday. Again, we had a great conversation. Then I called again a few days later,and left a message. She returned the call today. She was telling me about her wild weekend rave. For the third time, we had a great conversation! I can tell she is interested.

So what I'm asking is, should I go for a day 2 knowing that we wont really work out? Mainly for practice and experience. Not even expecting anything, other than a boost of confidence. Or leave it as it is.

I'm seriously leaning towards getting a day 2, because I could totally benefit from the experience, and practice. Not to mention we have good conversations. I also believe in practicing when it doesn't matter, so I'll be ready for the times when it does matter.

Maybe I just answered my own question. I just wanted to see what you guys think.

Practicing when it doesn't matter! GENIUS. And remember, it never matters. Always go for the GOLD, cause you ever know how a girl will turn out!

I know I should have day 2'd already. But hey, I'm still learning. I'm happy that she even returned the phone call! Anyways, I honestly don't care if I get LJBFed. I don't really see myself dating her anyways. At this point everything I do is practice. (I find it eases the pressure when I think this way)

Anyways, I was going to set up a coffee date Friday afternoon ( I met her Friday afternoon, so theoretically she shouldn't be free) So I called her today, and left a message. a minute later, she calls me back, She is sick, and I can hear it in her voice. We talk for a few minutes, but then she asked if she can call me back in about a minute. We hung up, and an hour and a half later she texts me saying sorry for not calling back, and she's dead tired, and going to bed, and took medicine and stuff. So now I don't know how to go about setting up the date. I don't know if calling tomorrow, and setting it up the following day is too soon, or if I should pick another day. (especially if she's going to be getting over being sick)

I know this is taking longer than desired, but I'm making progress!
