So I've been slowly working my way up to the comfort level necessary to sarge without any hesitance. I've been saying hello to practically every HB i see, given the circumstance, with fairly positive responses. At this point, my AA has lessened significantly, which of course is a good sign.

Anyway, to the point: I've gone to a few parties recently and been able to work out a few very successful openers. All responses have been as good as I could have asked for. However, my sticking point is escalating the process from that point on. I have no problem chatting up girls, but I find most of my talk veering into fluff and the typical "get-to-know-you" banter..

What are some good ways to flare up conversation and bring about subjects that will help to elicit attraction from a target?

I'm under the belief that fluff is not all that bad. I fluff-talk with most girls, but I think the key to good fluffing is looking interested in what they're saying and asking question about they're responses.
I have used The Cube, (which if anyone reads my posts, knows I'm a massive fan of. Link below.) routine most every time. This test allows them to feel vulnerable and open and we get to disect their personality together. Sometimes I like to offer personality suggestions like "You seem to have a lot of confidence, but I think you need to focus more on your friends. I might even suggest openning yourself up to them a bit more."
But I think the key to mid-game is to involve a few game-like tests, and banter, but keep them talking. Everyone's favorite subject is themselves. So with that in mind, it's rare a girl will get bored talking to you if she's talking about herself.

yeah man, play mind games or go into crazy random stuff.
once you notice youre fluffing, throw a crazy one out there.
and if youre realll cool convo dulls down, you say "so tell me something interesting about yourself" this way it shows interest but a slight neg because she'll try to qualify herself into being really interesting to you and shell think "i hope he doesnt think im boring!" i get convos to spice up when i say that one

yes that's perfect.
In fact, Style would ask girls, "Tell me three things about yourself, looks aside, that make you stand out to the opposite sex." Somtimes they need help and you can help them think of things like "Are you loyal, then? Are you compassionate? A good listener?" Things like that.
And like Right says, it's a great way to make them qualify themselves to you, because after all, Pick Up Artists never need to qualify themselves to women.

Some girls ARE boring no matter how interested they are in you / how interesting you are.

I know this extremely gorgeous girl who takes her time to leave me comments on Myspace/ send me txts like "heyyy what's up?" but whenever I talk to her it turns out dull and she's so damn boring so now I don't talk to her and say I'm always busy which makes her want me even more.

I used to waste my time on boring girls, but, honestly, now I judge girls (like mystery/ all master puas do) by personality.

Looks are a GIVEN.

I consider myself like an IVY league college, yes, you can get into me if you have a 36 act and 5.0 GPA (Aka looks) but you will drop out if you don't PROVE yourself to my college (me).

Ultimately I ONLY accept hot girls but if they don't step their personality up I drop them out of my life and treat them like I treat the ugly girls.

So 2 girl I know from the cheerleading started talking to me, and 2-3 of the girls from Poms pointed at me and said "woah look at that hot guy" and then like all 8 of them were like looking at me talking about me, then, eventually, the boy band prinsciple happened, and surely enough the girl under me (tanned one) called me over and was like "OMG we all think you're really hot can we take a picture of youu???"

And who was I to say no?
