Can't really get a grasp on push pull

I can pull push, that's easy, but push pull seems tricky to me.

Well push her away first, show active disinterest. When she thinks she lost her chance, change the tables on her and pull her in. It keep her on her toes and doesn't know what you want from her.

So push with something like a neg or some teasing
Pull with a compliment, kino, smile
