I'm in the music business and taking business management to get better at PUA is going for the WRONG reasons. Do what you want and look for things as someone else said.

Business takes a lot of your time, and I mean A LOT. So much, you probably wouldn't have too much time for fun. There are a lot of concepts to learn and whatnot, although they WILL help you out, it's a rough battle.

I went to college in 05 for computer repair and ended up with a business course which I'm grateful for as it helped to steer me down my correct path. Take my word, just ONE business class for a year was worth SO much in every aspect I can think of. I personally find business to be fun, just not the tax part haha.

Do what you WANT to do. Don't ask us what to do. You need to make that decision yourself with your own mind with your own interests in mind.

The lines in this scene are motivating for anyone wanting to get ahead, and not just sales.

Do not do business (unless you're going to a prestigious bussiness school like Harvard or Yale). EVERYONE does business, which means there really is no demand, which leads to really shitty pay. You can make a lot of money in business (my dad did) but you really have to work your ass off and manage time.

My major is Pharmacy, a field that is always in high demand. The schoolwork is really hard, but the pay more than compensates for it (avg. is $110,000 straight out of college).

There really isnt a major that realtes to PUA other than Psycology. Howerver, if you pick your major based on PUA, you will most likely HATE your job.

My major is Engineering, nothing really to do with PUA just what interests me the most
I'd actually say that being in engineering hinders my abilities a bit, being that I only have so many classes to practice as there are no females in my core classes.
LOL, I can attest to that. I toured GA Tech (big engineering school) and there werent many women at all. The ones that were there werent exactly easy on the eyes.

Any kind of business course major or minor will help you a ton. I personally got my degree in Early Childhood Education and Development with a business minor, and now teach a transitional Kindergarten class. I did this because I enjoy teaching kids, but has proven to be a big DHV when im chatting with a woman and career paths are brought up , it makes women very interested in me and why i chose such a female dominated field and provides great DHV stories from my job. Do what you think you will love and make applicable to PUA.

Id agree with this pov if you're someone who wants to jump into a career after college with no relevant work experience. But higher management positions are usually filled by internal or cross company promotions of skilled workers with a lot of experience. Having a business education along with years of full time work increases my potential for advancement in my field. Example: going from the bottom line doing customer service and manual labor to working with a marketing/product development team or regional support team.

I agree 100%

Perhaps I should have been a bit more specific. I was talking about potential straight out of college. Colleges are so packed with business students (its almost turned into a major for people who dont really know what they want to do) that its gonna take some time to separate yourself from the crowd after college. There are people who have a real passion for business and they will always come out on top, while the others will be satisfied with run-of-the-mill, lower-middle class jobs. In business, you get out of it what you put in.

But in the case of the OP, it doesnt seem like he really knows what he wants to do, and business is just his default. This is absolutely NOT what you want to do. Set goals and find the ways to achieve them. Think of your dream job, then envision a plan to get there. If you just jump into a field with no real plans, you set yourself up for failure. Business makes this double-ly dangerous because if you have no goals in business, you're going nowhere.

I admittedly just watched this because it's 3 A.M. and I cant sleep due to the Italian food I probably shouldnt have eaten tonight.

But this video is very interesting. Aside from the great acting, Alec Baldwin's character brings up a great point that I think can be applied to PUA:

"A guy dont walk on the lot lest he wants to buy. They're sitting out there waiting to give you their money. Are you gonna take it? Are you man enough to take it?"

Women are out at the clubs looking sexy for a reason. Do you think they spend three hours getting ready because its fun? Hell no. They do it for men. They look sexy because they have the intentions of getting fucked or at least giving out their number. The only question is are you man enough to seize the opportunity?

Okay, now I'm done with being off-topic.

psychology would teach you some things. ive also taken sociology and philosophy and thoroughly enjoyed both of them. sociology covers a lot of social dynamics and why people act the way they do in a society. intro to soc classes often cover sections on relationships and sex issues. it was very interesting. philosophy also opens your mind and shows you how people percieve what life is. def develops some inner game. im a busniess major btw but i have not taken many busniess classes thus far

my 2 cents
