What do you think if I brought a girl over and printed some coloring pages to color on with a set of crayola?

Ide play it really chill and lay back because coloring is just awesome. Plus it would be a nice way to bring her into my house without any kind of pressure of what we must do and generally a laid back activity.I think it would be a good start for any date in general.

This is an easy way to find coloring pages.

What would you do after?

What kind of pictures should I print?

I'm forseeing three different results:
A) Hells yea! (she frantically grabs the crayons, colouring outside the lines and eating some of the crayon)
B) Um.. colouring? with crayons? What are you, seven? (leaves, kinda weirded out)
C) ...(just straight up calls the police)

Crayons are not a good medium bro, unless she's a crayon artist herself (does such a thing exist?). Paint, now that's a little more mature, get a canvas, or a wall, or just a giant sheet of paper, and you can have much more fun with that, use your hands, spashing it (if you're more abstract), or good old fashioned brushing. But as for colouring books, I just think it's a terrible idea. If you really want to play with the crayons, go to East Side Marios or Jack Astors and order a well done steak, lol. Then you'll have plenty of time to mess up the tablecloth with some crayon-magic.

I just thought of another one. AD LIBS LOL. That shit can get hilarious. Also, if you're a musician, shit, try writing a song together. I'd totally try that. thank the gods im in the music biz.

i love this idea. please tell me how it works out for you. it does depend on the girl though. if she has a laid back fun personality i can see it working well but if she's stuck up proper kind of girl then she might laugh at you. i think its worth a try though..

I'm sorry? WTF.

No I can't recommend this, I get the feeling those who did recommend this wants to read the disastrous field report.

This sounds very DLV.

If she was a 1st grade teacher and you met her at work I could see why you would do this but seriously???

of course I didn't ask your age, are 8 perhaps?

Sorry I don't mean to harsh but this sounds like a terrible idea

Maybe it sounds terrible because you're no fun? lol. Really dude, I think it's pretty relaxed and sweet at the same time. Hell, I haven't even thought of coloring in a coloring book, but after reading this, I'd totally do it.

Think about it mentally. it's like whatever color she uses to color whatever it could say something about her personality. Almost like aura reading :p.

I don't even think this work work if u were still in elementary school. Just.... really...... lame......

Spontaneously pulling out the madlibs though as ^ said would be awesome though, as long as they're not the g rated ones.

Anything that can make you LAUGH together. When you both freely release emotion like that, its instant bonding and comfort building.

There are lots of childish things you can do together that are lots of fun, westside suggested madlibs, thats a good idea!
But coloring books is low quality entertainment even for a child, build lego with her or something. Try to think of something that requires more creativity, so you can make something together.
You are on the right track FurryHandcuffs but I think you can do better!

Dude I used to do madlibs all the time with just my old next door neighbor and that stuff gets massively wacky. In fact, let's all do one here XD. I'll start a thread in misc.

if you want to do it, just do it already! field test it. prove these haters wrong?

but a better way you could go about it is pull the colouring book off your shelf and say... omg i remember doing this when i was 3. then show her some of the attempts you did at colouring and laugh at how shit you were. then try finishing one of the empty pages off together. summit like that. then sign it together.

then put your crayon inside her beautiful, hand and let her draw some more ;) x
