I got this request from a hot blonde that has alot of mutual friends. Anyway it seems you didn't build enough rapport and comfort with her, so she would be comfortable giving you her number.
Depending on what types of things you guys were going back and forth about, I would try to take a step back and try to keep the communication going via comments on random things. Eventually write her a message saying 'we talk so much on other ppls pics, why don't I know anything about you ... blablabla'
Get her interested in you and number close.

however, next time when u start a chat with her or whatever, use some sort of opener.. something like: "jeez, did u know i just got a message saying that u want me to take a test on when i'll get married?!" (u know those tests on facebook) then when she takes the bate u can say "but it's nice to finally meet a girl that wants a serious relationship, most girls only want sex and that's it"

of course u gotta use things that are relevant to u and her, or something that actually took place.
The whole point is not to start a conversation with the afc style "hey, what's up? what u doing?" it's too obvious. girls hate that. especially hot girls. Use an opener, a story to pull her in, then run some routines and use bait hook reel RELEASE! u gotta release.
