tell her your name, then tell her that it's okay...you dont need to know hers because it doesnt matter. Wait for response, then tell her you've had your eye on her smokin ass all night...shes screaming IOI's by even confronting you and asking your name. Play off it a little, feed a neg or two, then get ready for the ride. ;)

On the one hand I usually give the name "Abe Froeman" and if she gets it and the reference - then she has moved up a few notches in my book.

You're thinking too much about having perfect cocky answers to minor details such as her asking your name.

I think the "What's your name" question can be dealt with similar as with the "What do you do" question. Be playful and you might pull out an extra IOI from it. My favorite answers to both are.

HB: What's your name?
Me: King Louis XIII of France. I believe your familiar with my work (Big Smile)

HB: What do you do?
Me: Rocket Ship salesman, the sales aren't too good but the commissions I get make up for it. (Big Smile)

No, just tell her your name, even if it isn't an IOI - why the fuck do guys look for IOIs?? It is such a reactive mindset it is painful to watch sometimes!!
