(hey idk but i think u kno my friend...tom...etc). she immediately picked up on the game an went into defense mode and said tom? if thats supposed to be a pick up line im sorry i have a boy friend...all i could think to say is no it was a joke. dont get that far ahead of yourself im just a social person.

Location: bronx, ny | | that was good. The idea for dealing with the boyfriend response is to never reply logically. Things like "sorry babe I'm not your boyfriend yet, lol" are good, and show you have a sense of humor.
She might not be bluffing, she may really have a boyfriend. In this case you did fine by saying it was just a joke. You should also add "this site is for meeting new ppl, I can see you aren't very friendly." Hopefully it turns around and she comes chasing you. But if she doesn't just stop messaging her.
