Been out this afternoon to a pub with some middle aged guy. I don't like him as he is so boring he gets me down as well as moaning about the current national political situation as being the reason why his own life is shit. Went in pretty positive and tried to be sociaable with various people, mainly guys, as there was a sports game on and not so many women there. I said hello to the girl at the bar as I ordered drinks and later went to sit there and said hi again. When she wasn't busy she came and sat near me which I guess may be an IOI so I tried to talk to make some witty comment and then realized that I had nothing else to say. I don't know anyone around my own age that I can go out with- no wingman. Is it possible for a noob AFC to play game solo. So fucking sick of spending Saturday nights on my own infront of the TV. I want to head out into town to some club style bars but I have nobody to go with. I could try to play some game but I really suck at it. I don't give a shit about the AA anymore and can quite easily say hello to anybody but then what???? I really have nothing to lose. If I make a total fool of myself I don't care because things can only get better. I'm not a good enough actor or liar to try bullshit phrases to try and play game such as, "excuse me but my friend is ............ and I would like to get a female opinion on .......... blah blah" All so fake. What can I do to EXPAND my social oppotrtunities. So damn frustrated at the moment. Really need some help. Please anyone?

As you mention you have no problems opening, It is possible to game solo. come in there with more cofident and you really wont need an openers (it helps). Playing the game takes practice, the bullshit openers are ment for you to get into those set easyier Remember if you approach a girl and just say HI they could be thinking "great another guyis gonna try hitting on me" even if you are not. The reason for those "bullshit" openers is to allow yourself in the set but yet not seem like you are hitting on anyone. Even if you lie, everyone lies from time to time. Its called the "game" for a reason. Being fake? only if you think of yourself is fake, within time it might become the new you. Being your current self is not helping out so what are you gonna do? you are gonna change yourself
