I know the cure is sarging, but I got it bad. My best friend, I consider him a big brother more, recently broke up with his girlfriend of two years. Over this time period she always came to me when they where arguing and we became good friends. Now that they are broken up we started to hang out and talk over the phone alot. My friend broke up with her because she was "psycho and too clingy" I do not see this in her. I winged him friend and he hooked up with a girl that he is very happy with. Since we are best friends, I dont think I could have a relationship with his ex. She is probably just trying to use me to get back with him. Hanging out with all of them together would probably come with alot of unnecessary tension and awkwardness. All the same her magic worked on me and she really has me going. I feel like an AFC. Im going on vacation for a week to clear my mind.

Aye, the rule of bros before hoes is a strong one.

However, if he broke up with her why don't you have the balls to ask him if he cares if you go for her? Then if he says no, you keep to the rule. If he doesn't care then more power to you. Considering he broke up with her, I don't see it as being a problem; but talk to him about it.

Also he could told her some shit about you and vice versa, it could be totally awkward.

If you pick her over your friend then you are selfish and imature...the best idea would be to talk to your friend and see how he feels about it? If he is cool with it then and only then should you date her and even then it is sketchy.

There is no such thing as loyalty any more...I know most of my budies would fuck my gf if I broke up with her....heck half of them would prob fuck her if she asked them and we wer still going out. Loyalty is a thing of the past.

I think that if your best friend broke up with her and is okay with the fact that you wanna make a move, go for it.
