regarding AA

Do you ever look back on an occasion and thought "wow, I could have at least said hi, or done something different!" If i could do it again, I would have stopped her and talked"

Is this a normal feeling?

I think it's a normal feeling I've had that a lot. Especially when they've given me hints like smiling or constantly looking. It might be a "newbie thing" though. 8)

It's normal, and no matter what anybody says, everybody does this from time to time. Hindsight is 20/20, and even though experience weeds out basic mistakes, everybody makes mistakes or miscalculations to some degree, and it's natural to correct them in our minds later.
That being said, its important not to let this phenomenon poison your mind. It's natural to think back, but its' not natural to obsess about the past. We should learn from our mistakes, but we should not burden ourselves with them to the point we can't move forward. If we focus too much on what we did wrong, we will miss all the things we did right, and that we should do again. The important part is to keep everything in perspective. And even when remembering negative things, to remember them with a positive attitude for the future.

I try not to, live live in the present, looking back just wastes more time.

Hell fuck no. I only remember the ones I do approach. What I do look back on and use for fuel is the feeling of uselessness I have when I was somewhere I coulda easily approached 30 people nut didn't any.

Immediately after a miss I'll be like dayumn I coulda at least said wha'sup, and what happens a lot of times is a possible spontaneous opener comes to me after already passing them 10 seconds too late. A wave, a grunt or eye contact is progress over not approaching at all...
