I've been checking out the online dating scene and found this really cute chick I think I knew from the past. I want to contact her and ask how I know her. I guess my question is how would you approach this? Should I be humorous like a little cocky funny or just keep it quick and to the point such as "hey I think I know you from somewhere? Do you know remember me?" Any advice?

Location: All over.
Do that, if she says she does know you.. go from there, if not then start gaming her. I did this once only, the girl added me which probably was weird but.. I ended up not knowing her and started gaming her and it worked quite well ;)
